  1. introduction:
    \nIIR (I<\/span>sobutylene-I<\/span>soprene R<\/span>ubber, butyl rubber) is a mixture of isobutylene and a small amount of isoprene (Isoprene) that causes double bonds in an ultra-low temperature reaction tank at -100 \u00b0 C that is equipped with a polymerization catalyst and a reaction regulator.   3. Classification:
    \nIIR is classified according to the degree of unsaturation (Isoprene amount), molecular weight (Mooney viscosity), and the type of stabilizer. In addition to the traditional IIR, the following halogenated butyl rubber
    \n1) Bromobutyl rubber: The chain molecules of butyl rubber are partially introduced with bromine and denatured. Vulcanization is fast, can be mixed with NR, SBR, etc., and has good adhesion to metals or other polymers
    \n2) Chlorinated butyl rubber: After chlorine is introduced, the vulcanization is rapid, and the compatibility with other rubbers is good. It can be vulcanized. The heat resistance of chlorinated butyl rubber is excellent. The ozone resistance and other characteristics are also comparable to those of ordinary butyl. Rubber is also excellent<\/li>\n
  4. Uses:
    \nBecause IIR has good airtightness and excellent insulation, it is widely used in inner tubes, underwater cables, groove linings, construction sealing materials, automotive parts and other applications.<\/li>\n
