Active Minerals International (AMI) has been greatly affected by a recent dramatic increase in
congestion and associated issues at US ports. In order to provide customers with an uninterrupted
supply of product, AMI has had to absorb extensive additional cost related to trucking, material
cost, detention and warehousing. As such, AMI announced an increase of $480/container to the
current Shipping Container Surcharge from
$200/Container to $680/Container effective on all shipments beginning September 20, 2021.
