International butadiene prices have fallen sharply, and since March, international synthetic rubber prices, especially SBR prices, have been weak and have continued to bottom out. Currently, the quotations of bulk SBR 1502 in South Korea and Japan have already below USD 2000/MT.
And because of the declining international economic sentiment, demand is sluggish. The downturn in synthetic rubber may also lead to a drop in natural rubber prices.
